It's No Secret
James Sanborn publicly insists that metaphor is an important element of his artwork. Among the yet unexplained elements of Kryptos that span the grounds of the CIA Headquarters lies a strikingly familiar shape partially obscured by the cafeteria's spider-like roof.
It is merely speculation to suggest the capital letter J definitely appears in the courtyard, but so far that seems to be the case. When paired with the famous "S-Shaped Copper Scroll" as seen from this satellite view taken February 1, 2007, perhaps the effect is intended to be the artistic initials J.S., alluding to the world-famous artist, James Sanborn. Decide for yourself. Just remember where you heard it first: KryptosRevisited.com.
