Two file types of the Kryptos Font are available for download. The TrueType Collection (ZIP file above) is the native font type for Windows and Linux. Mac OS X also supports TrueType and is the preferred format. The Type 1 Collection (SIT file below) is a compressed font suitcase only compatible with Macintosh operating systems, especially pre-Mac OS X. The vector font sets within each of these collections are identical and only differ by their type of internal encodings. This collection (version 2.002.2009) is the successor to the non-vector (version 1) graphics at Realm of Twelve.
Why the Different Fonts (Copperplate, Document, etc.)?
The Kryptos Sculpture Family of Fonts contains four authentic Kryptos Scupture fonts, which can also be individually downloaded. Each font serves a distinct purpose, details for which you can find in the user manual.
